Provide support for installation, maintenance, modification, and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, and software-based instruments.
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, review solutions, discuss needs, and ensure safe operational conditions.
Actively support the sale of service contracts, collaborate with sales representatives and service team members on system configurations, upgrades, installations, and moves.
Complete service administration activities promptly, adhering to ISO, FDA, and BD policies.
Requirements
Associate’s degree or Technical School equivalent, OR Bachelor of Science in a related field preferred
Valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record
Previous experience in diagnosing and repairing medical devices, electromechanical equipment, or scientific instruments is a plus
Ability to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight stays based on business needs.
Ability to drive distances of up to 6 hours within a given day, and in adverse weather conditions.
Ability to lift objects weighing up to 30-40 lbs. from the floor to chest level.
Ability to push and pull objects weighing up to 70 lbs.
Proficient in operating powered drills, screwdrivers, and saws.
