Oversee facility inspection planning, preventive maintenance, and implementation of HVAC, refrigeration, and emergency management systems.
Coordinate contracts with external service providers, including interviewing, recommending, and negotiating with contractors, developing scopes of work, and evaluating work quality.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, and guidelines by reviewing requirements and conducting inspections.
Manage financial sustainability and cost optimization by developing, presenting, and managing budgets for capital and operational expenses, prioritizing spend, and analyzing vendor costs.
Optimize vendor performance by building relationships, establishing key performance indicators, monitoring quality, and ensuring compliance with service agreements.
Lead the development and maintenance of systems, processes, and policies to enhance facilities, identify improvement opportunities, and implement best practices.
Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives, developing and implementing strategies, supporting resource requirements, and measuring outcomes.
Attract, develop, and retain a highly skilled workforce through talent recruitment, mentorship, workforce development, and succession planning.
Cultivate an environment of integrity and ethics, integrating company values into all programs and supporting the Open Door Policy.
Build and leverage internal and external partnerships to achieve business goals and support community outreach initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field and 5 years’ experience in engineering, construction management, facilities maintenance, heating, ventilation, or a related area OR 7 years’ experience in engineering, construction management, facilities maintenance, heating, ventilation, or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, and emergency management systems, as well as relevant laws, codes, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, optimize costs, and analyze financial data.
Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and performance evaluation.
