Perform on-site support of submarine Ship Control Systems (SCS)
Execute the duties of In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) for Seawolf and Ohio Class submarines SCS
Maintain knowledge and experience in overseeing development, integration, test,
evaluation and certification of existing and new submarine Fly by Wire (FBW) SCS designs
Provide support to tech assist teams in troubleshooting and repair of SCS
Maintain qualifications as Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) supporting SCS upgrades/alterations
Coordinate with Shipbuilders, Lead Design Yards, and Supervisor of Shipbuilding (SUPSHIP) engineers/technicians
Ensure fleet problem reports against SCS are acted upon and solutions proposed in a timely manner
Requirements
Active Secret security clearance
High School diploma and specialized US Navy Ship Control Systems training
10+ years of related US Navy submarines work, active duty experience preferred
Knowledge of Submarine Development and Construction
Knowledge of function operation of submarine Ship Control Systems and forward electronics
Knowledge of principles and techniques of Test and Evaluation Program Management
Ability to monitor and coordinate work efforts of a large group of Navy and contractor engineers/technicians
Ability to use complex interactive Computer Based systems
