Administer and maintain Linux servers supporting data platforms, applications, and shared services.
Perform system configuration, patching, monitoring, and performance tuning across environments.
Manage user access, permissions, and system hardening aligned with security best practices.
Support containerized and cloud-based Linux workloads.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues impacting applications, databases, or analytics systems.
Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting and configuration tools.
Maintain system documentation, operational runbooks, and configuration records.
Collaborate with DevOps, data engineering, and security teams to support secure delivery and platform reliability.
Support vulnerability remediation, compliance checks, and audit readiness activities.
Requirements
Experience administering enterprise Linux environments (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar).
Strong knowledge of system administration concepts including networking, storage, and access control.
Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure or virtualized environments.
Experience troubleshooting performance, stability, or configuration issues.
Working knowledge of scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or similar) for automation.
Understanding of security best practices within regulated or enterprise environments.
Ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, and security teams.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
