Role Overview
- Lead the team across multiple projects from concepts through production
- Shape the visual direction of in-app content experiences
- Guide the team in translating product functionality into visual stories

- Work hands-on with new technologies, including generative AI
- Forge relationships and build trust with partners and collaborators
- Partner closely with UX, product, research, and marketing
- Work with external agencies to ensure effective creative outputs
- Hire, develop, and retain outstanding designers
Requirements
- More than 8 years of experience in visual design
- Over 2 years leading a design team
- Advanced design craft and ability to communicate complex ideas visually
- Experience defining and applying visual identity systems at scale
- Skilled at managing multiple projects, timelines, and collaborators
- Proven ability to mentor and manage designers
- Proactive leader with a high standard for detail and clarity
- Curiosity and drive to explore generative AI creative tools
- Effective under pressure, adapting to project evolution
- Confident communicator explaining design decisions to cross-functional partners
- Experience recruiting, hiring, and managing talent
