Director, Machine Learning Engineering – Growth

Role Overview

• Define and communicate a clear multi-year ML vision
• Identify and prioritize impactful Growth opportunities
• Establish success metrics for Growth ML systems
• Manage and develop managers and senior ML engineers
• Champion cross-functional initiatives that grow user visitation
• Define a unified ML architecture for Growth
• Act as primary ML point of contact for Growth with executives

Requirements

• Deep expertise building and operating large-scale ML systems in production
• Demonstrated success driving Growth or adjacent problem spaces
• Proven track record of leading multiple ML teams or organizations
• Experience defining and executing multi-year technical strategies and roadmaps
• Strong product sense
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to building responsible, user-centric ML systems
• Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics or related field
• 12+ years of professional experience, including 5+ in people leadership roles
