Manage departmental budgets, resources, and supplies.
Monitor patient care quality indicators and implement improvement initiatives as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and infection control practices across the nursing department.
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient care standards, and nursing best practices.
Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams effectively.
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related advanced degree (preferred).
Certification in Nursing Administration (e.g., Nurse Executive Certification) (preferred).
Experience working in long-term care or rehabilitation settings (preferred).
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and healthcare technology (preferred).
Demonstrated success in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives (preferred).
