Director, Enterprise Pharmacy – Government Programs

Role Overview

• Directing the Medicaid pharmacy operations team
• Analyzing and optimizing the operational metrics, productivity and program requirements
• Direct and manage the ongoing assessment and program maintenance updates for the Medicaid pharmacy operations program
• Assess, direct and manage to the compliance of the program requirements as required by the applicable state Medicaid or Medicare requirements
• Manage the preparation and readiness for ongoing audits
• Represent the department to internal and external areas including government agencies and audit vendors
• Lead enterprise Medicaid operational and clinical programs

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with current, valid license in the state of operations
• 4 years of experience in pharmacy
• Strong leadership skills including working through others and training skills
• Analytical skills including translating business needs into technical requirements
• Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills to direct team, work across internal departments and represent the company to external agencies
• Negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Overseeing the annual budget and allocating resources for various projects and operational needs
• Translating needs and initiatives into compelling business cases
• Conducting cost-benefit analyses to justify investments and ensure ROI
