Role Overview
Demonstrate commitment to safety.
Coach, mentor, and provide training and experience opportunities to staff.
Facilitate introductions for Stantec staff with clients, including Environmental Services as well as other BOUs.
Be an active thought leader and have an online presence that aligns with Stantec’s business interests.
Develop, support, and execute the Stantec FHWA Account and potential other accounts in the future.
Engage FHWA leadership to understand upcoming business and teaming opportunities, monitor client satisfaction, and position Stantec for success.
Develop and manage the Marketing and Business Development (M&BD) plan and Pursuit list for the FHWA account to achieve wins and ensure an appropriate Return on Investment (ROI).
Lead delivery of significant regional projects as a senior advisor or project manager.
Actively participate in major projects, including contribution to written content, and serve in key roles such as Independent Technical Reviewer, as required.
Understand and evaluate Stantec’s competitive position with the client, major competitors, and potential partners.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of FHWA experience within multi-disciplinary environments and business operating unit markets.
Experience with winning and delivering work with FHWA and other federal agencies preferred.
Familiar with the breadth and depth of Stantec service offerings and geographic footprint.
Ideally have preexisting relationship and experience with clients within the Mountain Region.
Has experience developing and leading successful teams that deliver excellent services and solutions to clients.
Demonstrated experience in building and leading effective teams, delivery of integrated services, and contract negotiation.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including ability to convey complex issues to a variety of audiences.
Strong work ethic, people leadership skills, and desire for team success.
Active participation in professional organizations and communities.
Ability to work under minimal supervision with broad guidelines.
