Manage and Develop a team of motor controller design engineers including electrical hardware, software and test skillsets.
Manage motor controller technical development process definition, implementation of best practices and continuous improvement
Oversee the design and development of controller hardware and software
Monitor and manage department operational metrics to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Contribute to motor controller technology strategy development and execution

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in product engineering or related roles
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Proven experience in motor controller or electro-mechanical system design and development
Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams and across all levels of the organization
Knowledge of aerospace development process and industry standards (DO-254, DO-178, ARP4754)
Excellent problem-solving and decision making ability and capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
