Role Overview
- Local Sourcing Lead is responsible for Indirect Sourcing and Direct material tail spend activities for our Amarillo and Wichita Falls locations in the US.
- Activities include complex purchasing assignments tendering, supplier management, negotiations and supplier selections, as well operational procurement tasks.
- Drive sourcing productivity initiatives specific Sub Region/Country/Business Unit for indirect materials and services and for direct material tail spend suppliers.
- Influencing others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
- Continuously improves procurement processes with the objective of eliminating waste or other non-value-added work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in purchasing or supply chain management, business or a related field, or equivalent work-experience within sourcing, supply chain, logistics or economics
- 3-5 years’ experience in a sourcing and procurement role preferred.
- Fluent written and spoken English skill is mandatory
- Fluent in Languages of the countries where responsible
