About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for developing new business in an assigned territory by developing strong relationships and executing a best-in-class sales methodology
Drive revenue in an assigned market/territory by building pipeline and winning net new business accounts
Manage a sales cycle from lead generation, qualification, demonstration, to deal close and account transition to the professional services team
Clearly articulate the value proposition and competitive advantage of selecting Momentive Software
Perform detailed discovery meetings with key prospect staff
Conduct product demonstrations onsite or remote (with assistance from our sales engineering team) to prospective customers
Maintain current Territory and Opportunity planning documents
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales quotas and KPI’s set by management
Maintain accurate record keeping of all pertinent sales activities in Salesforce.com and Salesloft.com
Nurture relationship with industry consultants and influences
Participate in industry conferences and trade shows
Requirements
5+ years outside enterprise technology solution sales
Nonprofit and/or association sales experience preferred
Degree in related field preferred
Passion for technology solution sales to deliver business process automation
Experience selling enterprise SaaS based solution
A proven sales track-record in attaining quota
Must be able to overcome objectives, generate proposals based upon customer needs and close contracts
Excellent communication & presentation skills
Experience with value-based selling and negotiating
Confident selling to B & C level employees & Board of Directors
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
Ability to manage a large pipeline across the entire sales cycle
Must be motivated and goal-oriented
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail oriented
Willingness to travel up to 50%
