The Contracts Manager is responsible for award management, contract lifecycle from review to execution, compliance and negotiation for Aerospace & Defense and commercial markets associated with specialty batteries, development programs, and government-funded contracts across EAS entities.
Manage the review and tracking of contractual documentation, status, and approvals to drive the contract acceptance process through completion.
Interpret, compile, edit, and proofread text and data from various sources for use in technical discussions, documents, reports, and proposals.
Review contracts and terms & conditions for alignment with corporate standards, recommend strategies to negotiate mutually acceptable positions, and administer contracts to maintain compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science Degree in Business, Engineering, or closely related discipline, or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and/or other training.
10+ years of experience in government contracting with experience administering firm-fixed and cost-plus contracts.
Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARs, and CFR.
Thorough knowledge of CMMC, cybersecurity, and safeguarding of information.
