Strategic Sourcing and Contracting Specialist

Role Overview

• Own end-to-end procurement activities including early engagement with stakeholders
• Develop source selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies
• Negotiate long-term agreements (terms and conditions)
• Create and oversee strategic contracts
• Support the objectives of other teams: legal counsel, security, procurement, trade compliance, etc.
• Support FAR/DFARS compliance activities and ensure team adherence to internal processes

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or contracts
• 1+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
• 3+ years of experience negotiating, interpreting, and editing terms and conditions leveraging the support of a contracts team
• 3+ years of experience collaborating with IT suppliers and negotiating IT contracts
• 3+ years of experience implementing process and/or strategy improvements
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and relevant procurement regulations
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with Deltek Costpoint software
