As an Engineering Manager at Doximity you will be expected to roll-up your sleeves and make substantial individual technical contributions for 70-80% of your time.
As you will lead a team of 3-5 software engineers, the rest of your time will be focused on people management.
You will play a liaison role alongside Engineering, Product, and Data teams.
You will contribute to the technical direction of software products.
You will aid in planning, retrospectives, and devise effective delegation strategies for you and your team.
You will review code, write technical proposals, and help your team grow by recruiting, training, and aiding in career progression plans.

Requirements
You are a software engineer first and foremost; excited to roll up your sleeves and help with hands-on engineering problems.
You enjoy leading projects and teams including planning the iterative delivery of high-quality solutions.
You have a deep understanding of modern programming disciplines using languages such as Ruby and TypeScript.
Experience with technologies like GraphQL, WebRTC, VOIP, observability tools, and AI-assisted software development is a plus.
