Handle a variety of eCommerce tasks for each client such as calculating sales, returns, discounts, and reconciling sales figures between sales channels and payment processors
Assist in calculating cost of goods sold and inventory balances each month
Process vendor invoices and bills, reviewing invoices and bills, and preparing them for payment
Regular finance tasks including transaction coding; bank and credit card reconciliations; AP and AR documentation; customer invoicing; payroll processes; maintaining fixed asset schedules; month-end and year-end close duties; and 1099 filings
Communicate with clients through e-mail or video conferencing to help explain problems and issues when they arise, as well as communicate across teams to collect correct information and problem solve
Requirements
An accounting/finance degree or equivalent work experience
3+ years of accounting experience
2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online
Ability and confidence to trouble shoot independently and communicate with clients
Experience with small business accounting or an eCommerce business is a plus.
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) experience is highly valued.
