Requirements
Experience in leading IT projects of varying complexity that are critical to Woodward's success.
Accountable for project artifacts (scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, etc.).
Leadership: Inspires and motivates cross functional teams to achieve project goals. Builds trust, resolves conflicts, and fosters collaboration among team members.
Time Management / Prioritization: Expert ability to effectively manage schedules, set milestones, and ensure timely delivery of project outcomes.
Communication: Effectively conveys project information to stakeholders, team members, and sponsors. Tailors communication to different audiences.
Stakeholder Management: Engages stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives. Addresses stakeholder concerns, manages expectations, and balances competing priorities.
Risk Management: Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates risks throughout the project lifecycle. Develops contingency plans and proactively addresses potential obstacles.
Problem-Solving: Analyzes complex situations, identifies solutions, and makes informed decisions. Manages challenges and conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
Financial and Resource Management: Manages budgets, forecasts costs, and tracks financial performance across the program. Ensures cost-effectiveness and delivers value within financial constraints.
Team Management: Creates high-performing teams by fostering trust, accountability, and open communication.
Scope (Change) Management: Quickly adjusts plans in response to changing circumstances or new information. Clearly defines and controls the project scope to prevent scope creep.
Technical Project Management Skills: Masters project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches). Effectively uses tools and software (e.g., Planisware, etc.) to plan, execute, and monitor projects.
