Claims Analyst IV – Management Liability

Role Overview

• Handle Employment Practices Liability claims with opportunity to handle Director & Officers and Fiduciary Liability Claims
• Identify, investigate, and resolve multiple coverage issues at the earliest appropriate time
• Provide clear and concise written and verbal communication of policy coverage issues to insureds, brokers, underwriters and risk managers
• Coordinate with defense counsel/insureds/monitoring counsel to facilitate coverage, liability and damage analysis
• Analyze and budget the litigation of each claim
• Determine judgmental value on all files in pending and make presentations to management
• Manage reserve adjustments and payments

Requirements

• Claims handling and/or litigation experience
• Financial Lines experience (EPL, D&O, ERISA claims) preferred
• Ability to analyze policies of insurance and legal documents
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office)
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
• JD highly preferred
