Oversee the planning, execution, and financial performance of ITL’s building and vertical infrastructure projects.
Support Business Development in identification, assessment, and pursuit of new opportunities.
Participate in capture strategy, teaming, and bid development.
Oversee the successful execution of awarded vertical construction projects, from preconstruction through closeout.
Work with key management across the division to improve revenue outcomes through efficient and effective programs, projects, and practices.
Lead and manage program managers, project managers, engineers, and other staff within the vertical construction group.
Oversee project financials including budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or business preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience leading large-scale federal vertical construction projects exceeding $20M in value.
Experience supporting or operating within SBA 8(a) program environments preferred.
Proven leadership of cross-functional teams.
Strong experience working within firm-fixed-price, design-build, and design-bid-build contract structures.
Possession of a valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Ability to obtain and maintain access credentials required for entry to federal, state, or local government facilities, as applicable.
Ability to obtain and maintain a REAL ID compliant driver’s license or valid U.S. passport for identification and travel requirements.
Strong financial acumen, including project forecasting, margin analysis, and understanding of cost drivers that impact profitability and cash flow.
Proficiency with enterprise construction and project controls platforms such as MS Project, Procore, Costpoint, InEight, Army Corps RMS, NAVFAC eCMS, Oracle P6, and similar tools.
Ability to analyze and manage complex, multi-phase schedules with a clear understanding of critical path, sequencing, and schedule impacts.
Working knowledge of contract structures, risk allocation, and compliance requirements relevant to federal and commercial construction projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly to executive leadership, customers, and external stakeholders.
Ability to travel to project sites and customer facilities across the US.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to ever changing priorities.
Ability to operate effectively within cross-functional systems and workflows, including project controls, finance, contracts, and operations, with a focus on consistency, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Comfortable leveraging technology and data, and emerging tools, to support operational decision-making, process improvement, and risk mitigation.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and hold teams accountable while driving results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
