Provide administrative support within the USF Health Office of Research to various Morsani College of Medicine departments.
Act as a primary contact between Principal Investigators and Sponsored Programs on the identification, development, review, submission and administration of grants and contracts.
Support researchers by preparing budget projections, developing materials for compliance analysis, and advising concerning the review of proposals by Sponsored Programs.
Provide guidance to researchers on administrative steps such as setting up accounts, reviewing and approving progress reports for the Principal Investigators and ensure timely submission of invoices and financial reports.
Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of professional administrative experience; or a Master’s degree. Progressively responsible related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.

Minimum Qualifications that require a high school diploma are exempt from SB 1310.
Knowledge of uniform guidance, ORACLE, FAST, proposal submission systems (ASSIST, Research.gov, proposal central, etc) Microsoft suite.
High level communication skills; critical thinking, time management, adaptability.
Federal, state, and institutional regulations as it relates to research and research expenses.
