Role Overview
Contribute to setting the vision, priorities, and roadmap for the Modeling COE, ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives
Drive innovation in modeling techniques, tools, and processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
Build trusted relationships with cross-functional teams, influencing decision-making and driving consensus on complex modeling initiatives
Collaborate with leaders within the Finance organization to ensure alignment of modeling outputs with business objectives
Communicate complex modeling results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner
Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of life and health actuarial projection models used for FP&A, ALM and capital planning
Ensure financial projection models comply with regulatory requirements and internal control standards
Actively manage team performance, provide coaching and mentorship, and create opportunities for professional growth to build a high-performing and engaged team
Requirements
FSA or equivalent actuarial designation
Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields; advanced degree is ideal
10+ years of hands-on experience working with actuarial models, including more than 5+ years leading and managing high‑performing teams
Expertise in financial projection models, financial analysis, valuation frameworks, and regulatory standards
Experience includes developing, validating, and interpreting complex projection models; applying advanced valuation methodologies across multiple product lines; conducting robust financial and scenario analyses; and ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory requirements such as statutory, GAAP, and principles‑based frameworks.
