Works collaboratively as part of the clinical team and has opportunities to partner with operational colleagues and clinicians.
Helps develop and maintain EMR's utilized for service line documentation of care delivery.
Completes policy review and provides updates as warranted.
Reviews billing and coding as well as intermittently assist in denial management.
Organizes and conduct clinical program development in skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, home health care, and swing bed units.
Performs clinical monitoring for quality documentation to decrease risk of denials and enhance patient outcomes.
Establishes best practices and procedures to produce high quality rehabilitation programs.
Deploys new procedures, as directed, to improve the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs.
Requirements
Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
Two years of experience in therapy and rehabilitation.
Requires current licensure as an Occupational, Physical, or Speech Therapist in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position.
When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
