Role Overview
- functions as a senior engineering technician, technical design specialist, and/or supervisor
- applies advanced technical expertise to solve complex design challenges within a specific engineering discipline
- contributes to the development of innovative engineering solutions
- uses digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
- provides consultation, training, and oversight to other engineering technicians
- establishes and communicates appropriate design and graphic standards
- reviews project requirements to determine correct formats and deliverable content
Requirements
- typically a minimum of 11 years related work experience
- associate degree in drafting or an engineering design related technology preferred
- bachelor degree in an engineering design related technology preferred
