Support engineering teams under general supervision
Perform technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Use digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling)
Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineering technicians
Stay current on applicable standards, systems, and document control practices
Apply knowledge of the BV Quality Program to ensure accurate, compliant deliverables
Demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives
Use and expand applications and tools to evaluate and improve methods, processes, and procedures
Perform basic computations, including material quantity estimates and dimensional checks
Coordinate deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences
Support internal client needs while developing an understanding of external client priorities and drivers
Proactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processes

Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred
Diploma or Certificate preferred
Knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PLS-CADD
Ability to create and modify structural models, drawings, and details using advanced techniques
