Triage and conduct privacy impact assessments and other privacy-related risk assessments and develop and implement corrective action plans
Collaborate cross functionally with key stakeholders to ensure timely processing of all privacy related risk assessments.
Brief regional Data Protection Officers on higher risk privacy matters that could impact data subjects in their regions
Conduct legal research on specific privacy-related topics, as needed
Assist with data incident response investigations and reporting under legal privilege, and Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements
Oversee and maintain the Privacy and Cyber SharePoint site, risk metrics, and control tower to ensure proper documentation and tracking
Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews
Requirements
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years’ experience in privacy or an Advanced Degree in a related field (i.e., Juris Doctorate or master’s degree in legal studies preferred) and minimum 5 years' experience
Experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments as well as other privacy-related risk assessments, including Data Protection Impact and Transfer Impact Assessments
Experience with data incident response and DSAR response
Experience with domestic and international data privacy law and regulations, including CCPA and GDPR
