Serves as Capacity lead in pre-RFP planning process.
Provides subject matter expertise and curates feasible solutions to execute the business opportunities.
Identifies risks and collaborates with internal partners to effectively solve problems.
Performs post award procurement planning; accountable to ensure award is appropriately matched to the right capacity solution/team).
Interprets carrier analytics and leverages other tools (market data, freight and pricing tools and resources) to guide informed buying decisions within aligned geography.
Responsible for activities that evaluate award health; monitors adherence to capacity procurement plan and performs monthly review against customer scorecards.
Action plans to meet service metrics.
Performs continuous improvement to capacity strategy over lifecycle of the award.
Provides day-to-day problem resolution; identifies opportunities and issues, determines the best course of action, and implements solutions.
Works closely with internal resources on shipment updates, problem resolution and/or operational execution.
Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent
A minimum of three years of 3PL capacity/carrier account management experience
