Prepare and analyze quarterly and year-end income tax provisions, and balances under IFRS for financial statements and management reporting purposes
Prepare and analyze the annual budget for Canadian financial and management reporting purposes
Prepare and analyze the annual tax returns and related information returns for Canadian corporations
Analyze, research and document tax considerations that arose from the preparation and review of the above provisions and returns
Assist in analysis of special transactions, including identifying and documenting Canadian tax matters
Assist with CRA tax audits
Assist in coaching and training of staff members
Requirements
University degree in a business-related field
Currently enrolled/ completion of a professional accounting designation (or equivalent)

4 years taxation/accounting experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demands and competing priorities to achieve required results
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and also work collaboratively in a team environment
Passion for developing others and developing a high-performance culture
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel; experience in SAP and/or Longview Tax is an asset
