Reviewing business processes to gain a complete understanding of current business and system processes
Identifying improvements and documenting those improvements as business requirements (Features and User stories)
Working interdepartmentally and communicating to leadership to ensure deliverables are met
Defining and eliciting business requirements for assigned project or company initiatives
Communicating departmentally and interdepartmentally to recommend and request new concepts and/or modifications to existing workflow, system set up, tools and designs
Collaborating with business units to understand strategic goals and promote an environment conducive to creativity, change and information exchange
Creating documentation for business processes and collaborating with teams to share knowledge
Working directly and independently with appropriate members of the department and other Healthfirst business units to understand project concepts, objectives, and approach
Analyzing various types of data and processes to root cause, trend, and summarize findings
Requirements
High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
2 – 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Experiencing defining and eliciting business requirements
Experience working with Agile in a delivery model
Experience identifying, documenting, and communicating business requirements
Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically
Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and work with independence and initiative as well as strong ability to work closely as a team member
Proficiency in Excel and reporting functionality (pivot tables, graphs, v-lookup, etc.)
