Role Overview
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial information and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Support audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, GAAP, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
