Senior Manager

Role Overview

• This role requires a mix of problem solving, technical skills and project management.
• It requires expertise in all of technologies like SAS, R, PYTHON, SQL, Hive, GCP and Hadoop including good understanding of Big Data processing, Model development / validation with visualization, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Set up proper access controls, encryption and compliance measures for sensitive data during the migration process following GCP’s best practices.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations like HIPAA when migrating data to GCP, ensuring that security and privacy standards are met.
• Document the migration process including steps taken, issue encountered, and solutions implemented.
• Provide comprehensive guides on the new workflows and GCP environment.
• Provide training to team members or end user on how to use GCP analytics tools and transition from SAS/ R / SPSS / Hive / SQL environment to GCP based systems.
• Works closely with data engineers, data scientists, system architects and cloud engineers to ensure smooth migration process.
• Communicate progress, risks and issues with key stakeholders throughout the migration project ensuring they are informed and aligned.
• Showcase high level analysis using different dashboards using Tableau or Power BI tools.
• After migration, monitor the system’s performance and continuously look for areas to optimize cost wise or overall query performance.
• Stay updated with GCP advancements and new services, applying relevant updates and best practices to improve the overall analytics environment.
• Handle any issues that arise during the migration process, including data discrepancies or incompatibility between SAS/ R / SPSS / Hive / SQL as compared with GCP tools.
• Will require up to 10% travel within the U.S. to client sites and other EXL offices.

Requirements

• Requires Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, or a directly related field plus five (5) years of Experience required in the proffered position or related.
• Must have the following certificate
• GCP or AWS Cloud.
• Employer will also accept Master’s degree plus three (3) years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree plus five (5) years of Experience required in the proffered position or related.
