Patient Financial Counselor

Role Overview

• Provide clerical and administrative support including pre-registration, insurance verification, and price estimation/calculations.
• Call and/or meet with patients to provide and obtain insurance and/or financial information.
• Act as the primary point of contact for patients with financial questions regarding upcoming procedures/appointments.

Requirements

• 1 year
• Insurance verification experience.
• Bachelor's Degree: Or equivalent education/experience.
• 1 year
• Customer service experience in a medical setting.
• Mathematics/Claims processing background.
