Deliver an outstanding customer experience passionate about supporting our customers with their laboratory goals
Support multiple sales representatives by providing information specific to our diagnostics portfolio, including technical information/presentations, product recommendations for customer applications, and other technical support
Prospecting new customers and opportunities in addition to growing our existing customer portfolio
Execute the sales cycle and process in a manner that drives results, professional, ethical, persuasive and leads the customer to action
Develop, present and implement sales strategies and plans to expand business within assigned territory using Salesforce and other CRM tools for effective customer and business strategy management
Continuously improve knowledge and learn any New Product Introduction of the clinical chemistry, immunoassay and microbiology market, its trends and our competitors
Independently make decisions while using available resources to meet customer needs
Team oriented
work with a cross-functional matrixed team of supplier and internal partners
Positively represent Thermo Fisher Scientific at all times throughout customer locations
Conduct business reviews with the Account Executive team or by self
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years relevant experience required
Prefer experience in healthcare sales, medical device, or capital equipment sales, preferably in Clinical Diagnostics
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in the sciences, M.S. preferred
Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and negotiation skills
Experience in presenting complex information both verbally and written
Proven track record of sales performance
Must be willing and able to travel ~50% of the time
