Serves as the subject matter expert for production equipment maintenance in assigned area.
Prepares and conducts training for maintenance technicians on maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of critical production assets.
Provides technical guidance and assistance to maintenance technicians in resolving production equipment issues.
Prepares and reviews training documents, custom equipment documents, tip sheets, etc.
Serves as primary technical interface for production equipment maintenance and partners with internal/external stakeholders (OEM, suppliers, production, engineering, etc)
Assist with acquiring, modifying, supporting and disposing of major custom equipment, multiple systems and subsystems assets.
Researches, interprets and applies codes, regulations and standards.
Creates project management plans and executes multiple projects to plan.
Initiates and performs continuous improvement activities, root cause analysis, rapid system problem solving.
Responds to non-routine maintenance/operator questions related to assets.
Requirements
5+ years of experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
5+ years of experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley
5+ years of experience troubleshooting and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)
5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance
5+ years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications
5+ years of experience using MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel at a minimum)
