Role Overview
- Utilize proven instructional design methodologies to create learning solutions
- Apply adult learning theory and design, develop, and maintain training content
- Work with Sr. Instructional Designers, Learning Consultants, and Subject Matter Experts
- Design and develop text, graphics, animations, simulations, and assessment instruments
- Create and manage development timelines and milestones
- Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in Instructional Design
- 4+ years’ experience in training and development or instructional design
- Advanced technical writing and editing skills
- Ability to author and edit content utilizing tools including Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- Experience with Learning Management Systems
- Advanced degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum Design, or Adult Education preferred
- Experience in training and development, technology, financial and banking services preferred
- ATD certification preferred
