Monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery of materials, components, and services
Identify and address potential delivery risks by coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track production schedules, capacity, and delivery timelines
Collaborate with procurement, quality, and program management teams to resolve delivery issues
Conduct root cause analysis of delivery delays and work with suppliers to establish corrective actions
Utilize supply chain management tools and systems to track and report on supplier delivery performance metrics
Support initiatives to standardize and improve delivery assurance processes and practices
Assist in the implementation of strategies to enhance supplier performance
Provide clear and timely updates to internal stakeholders on supplier delivery status, risks, and recovery efforts
Travel as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, delivery assurance, procurement, or a related discipline OR an advanced degree and 3 years relevant experience
Knowledge of government contracting and FAR/DFARS regulations
Strong understanding of supply chain principles, delivery assurance practices, and supplier performance management
3+ years of experience working with supply chain management systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools
