Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and develops sourcing strategies to continuously improve and re-evaluate the purchasing activities of the company.
Directs supplier selection based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and details of suppliers' reputation and history.
Directs negotiations, renegotiations and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
Directs negotiations with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
