Plan, direct and ensure all aspects of integrated materials storage, receipt, issue, ordering, inventory, container management, and requirement definitions for capital project related materials are executed in a consistent manner globally.
Oversee individual project materials organizations to ensure project objectives of safety, scope, cost, and schedule are met.
Participate in the development of project Materials Execution Plans for each project, outlining strategies, processes, and staff requirements
Develop consistent reports of material status for projects
Participate in logistics planning and execution, including packing, inspections, and transit of capital goods
Develop tracking controls systems to ensure efficient execution of projects
Collaborate with Global Supply Chain leads to ensure compliance to site requirements, and optimum utilization of resources and staff
Ensure critical materials and supplies are accurately and safely stored and issued to construction personnel as needed
Oversee effectiveness of project materials staff and report to project management improvement opportunities
Oversee system interface (receiving, storing, issuing) accuracy to ensure compliance and excellent material accuracy
Perform other duties as requested
Requirements
High School diploma or GED and fourteen (14) years experience in inventory management, systems & project management and analysis projects required, OR
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and ten (10) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR
Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and eight (8) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required
Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English
Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards
Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment
Must be accessible 24/7 for emergency customer service issues
Must be able to frequently, sit, stand, and walk
Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 10 pounds
