About this role
Role Overview
- Shape technology-driven business strategy and represent the technical perspective at executive level
- Drive delivery of critical technical initiatives and establish engineering delivery practices
- Define ML strategy, lead enterprise ML initiatives, and be the technical authority on machine learning
- Develop technical leaders and shape engineering talent strategy across the business unit
- Design AI-augmented engineering workflows and evaluate new AI tools
- Lead architectural decisions for complex systems, establish quality standards, and mentor engineers
- Design for reliability, implement monitoring and alerting, and lead incident response
- Drive process efficiency and coordinate cross-functional technical work
- Shape organizational culture around curiosity and continuous learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of relevant experience
- Master's degree preferred
- Industry thought leader with enterprise-wide strategic influence
- Expert-level skills in business immersion, data integration, full-stack development, model development, model fine-tuning, multi-audience communication, problem discovery, rapid prototyping & validation, retrieval augmentation, stakeholder management, and team collaboration
- Practitioner-level skills in AI evaluation & observability, AI literacy, AI-augmented development, architecture & design, code quality & review, developer experience, knowledge management, pattern generalization, and technical writing
