Deliver all required services in accordance with new commercial business contracts and work with sales to continue to expand and grow that business.
Manage a team of subrogation professionals to achieve subrogation recoveries in accordance with revenue goals for commercial clients.
Ensure that the team is performing in accordance with all productivity, quality, and compliance goals.
Manage a departmental budget by managing staffing and other resources and developing innovations, automations, and processes/workflows which allow us to work smarter and meet all client deliverables.
Provide training, coaching and mentoring of staff as appropriate.
Work with internal legal department to ensure that the staff is aware of legal doctrines, and rules and regulations that impact the various lines of business in commercial subrogation.
Act as an escalation point for internal teams and external clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration and/or 5 years of proven experience managing a subrogation team.
Prior experience managing remote teams of 5 or more employees.
Experience with commercial subrogation including insurance carriers, self-funded ERISA plans, and Taft-Hartley funds as well as experience with Medicaid MCO and Medicare Advantage plans.
Proven ability to work with other internal teams to drive process improvements and achieve revenue goals.
Ability to perform in a team environment and motivate staff at all levels while handling pressure, delivering on project deadlines, and managing multiple initiatives.
