About this role

Lead and supervise the Design Engineer and Shop Order Team
Provide mentoring, coaching and accountability through performance appraisals to the team
Assure consistent application of current design policies, procedures and practices
Monitor and report weekly payroll information, tracking and coordinating vacation
Oversee and manage individual work schedules and the production schedule
Provide 'World Class' service, meeting customer needs quickly and effectively
Partner with the Division Leadership team to drive continuous improvement
Support Business Development through customer and specifier interactions promoting Nucor’s value proposition and cultivating deeper partnerships

Have a minimum of a B.S. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Registered PE or Passed PE Exam and Completing PE Experience Requirement
Prior Leadership Experience
Joist and Deck, Metal Buildings or Structural Steel Design and/or Detailing Experience
Willing to relocate for future advancement opportunities
