Senior Director, Credit Card Retail

Role Overview

• Develop and execute the retail acquisition strategy for the Fanatics Credit Card.
• Partner with Marketing and Product to test, launch, and scale new acquisition tactics, retail experiences, and program enhancements.
• Own retail channel performance, including forecasting, P&L management, and ongoing optimization.
• Define customer offers, promotions, and merchandising to maximize in-store conversion.
• Build compelling business cases and proposals for internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Lead relationships with store owners, merchants, and retail operators.
• Represent the credit program at major events and retail activations.
• Lead and develop the retail credit team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience distributing consumer credit products (credit cards, POS financing, BNPL) through retail channels.
• Experience at fintech and/or high-growth startup environments preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of retail economics and P&L drivers.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and close partnerships.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and executive storytelling skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
