Develop and execute regional sales plans aimed at achieving targets for the growth and retention of existing food service customers.
Oversee the management and negotiation strategies for all distribution accounts, while cultivating and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers.
Conduct regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to product and brand quality standards.
Manage and engage in effective communication with Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Trade Assets and Equipment teams, National Accounts, Marketing, Finance, and third-party vendors to support customer needs and facilitate new account openings.
Collaborate with the sales team across Canada and national accounts to ensure consistent practices and messaging across regions.
Leverage deep industry knowledge of key segments, including but not limited to lodging, healthcare, colleges and universities, travel, and grocery, to inform strategies and decision-making.
Oversee and ensure data integrity within the CRM tool, building a robust pipeline of opportunities to exceed sales objectives.
Requirements
3 + years within sales and account management, with a proven track record of delivering business results from a Consumer Goods Company
Previous experience leading and developing others in a management capacity
Post secondary education in Business, any related field or equivalent experience
Effective communication, negotiation and strong leadership skills are required to express analytics and deliver presentations to various levels within the organization and externally to customers.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks with excellent time and project management while paying attention to detail.
Motivation as a self-starter with the ability to think “out of the box” in an effort to secure incremental business opportunities.
