Responsible for designing and administering Human Resource policies, procedures and programs
Supports employees throughout the client’s organization
Provides expert advice, counsel and implementation support on a fractional, interim or project-basis in areas of HR that include HR Policy and Compliance (Handbook), Employment Processing and Onboarding, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Relations
Liaison to Benefits, Payroll and HR Technology Providers across our clients
Promotes HR practices and objectives that provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity and standards, and goal attainment
Demonstrates proven project management skills and the ability to multi-task by managing the moving parts and priorities of multiple clients
Work may be at the client’s site or remotely – some travel will be required
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field
a minimum of 7 years of HR experience as an HR Generalist/Leader
A blend of both corporate and consulting experience
Consulting firm background/experience is preferred in the accounting/consulting or HR consulting industries
Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)
A solid foundation of HR knowledge – employment laws and practices
Proven experience in leading difficult conversations (terminations, probation, salary reductions, etc.) as well as employee growth and counseling conversations
Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other HR programs.
Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
a strong understanding of existing and emerging HR and business operational technology tools and platforms
A sense of urgency and exceptional communication skills (oral and written) with a desire to build long, lasting relationships
Strong research, analytical and project management skills
The ability to work with a variety of personalities at all levels throughout the firm
The ability to coach employees and management objectively through complex, difficult, and emotional issues
Sound judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, or government (Federal and State) law
Independent judgment, a high level of confidentiality, and the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
