Assist in leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities.
Manage tight deadlines and a multitude of activities including costing allocations, budget proposal support, financial reporting and analysis support, year-end audit preparation.
Provide support to other Finance-related functions, such as the month-end close process.
Serve as a senior advisor to program managers and directors, supporting the development of program level financial strategies.
Maintain and update FP&A procedures, staff training materials, and documentation.
Collaborate with the Advancement division and programmatic departments to develop effective budgets.
Requirements
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) required.
Knowledge of Workday and Adaptive Planning, and Excel technology systems is preferred.
Grant and/or fund accounting experience is preferred.
Preferred minimum of four (4) + years of related work experience in finance or accounting.
Preferred minimum of three (3) + years of financial analysis, grant, project, and/or costing accounting experience.
Any experience in an education or non-profit environment preferred.
