About this role
Role Overview
Advise and support medical staff in the operation of the Affera navigation system during electrophysiology procedures in Germany
Support customers in the cardiac catheterization lab with our complete product portfolio
Assist in the development of innovation centers and act as a clinical and technical expert for physicians, clinical staff and the team
Plan and perform software and hardware installations in the region in close cooperation with our technical department and the wider team
Support the organization and delivery of training and continuing education events
Support market development activities, such as preparing short presentations or other visual materials
Participate in regular territory reviews within the account team alongside the Sales Manager
Collaborate across business units with all areas of Medtronic
Plan and execute support activities with our navigation system in coordination with our customers
Conduct on-site training and consulting and help build and maintain customer relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations
Update and document activities in our CRM tool (e.g., SFDC Lightning)
Regularly attend congresses, symposia and workshops
Requirements
Degree in electrical engineering, biomedical engineering or a natural science (B.A./B.Sc., M.A./M.Sc., Diploma)
Alternatively, completed technical training in the medical field, equivalent substantial cardiology experience, or comparable qualification
At least 2 years of independently performing 3D mapping procedures and at least 3 years of clinical EP experience
Completed, passed, and active NASPE / IBHRE certification can be an advantage
Good IT skills, a very strong technical understanding and the ability to explain clinical contexts at the highest level
Strong interpersonal skills and flexibility
Full teamwork skills and willingness to travel required
Proficiency with common PC tools is essential
Independent, self-responsible thinking and acting, and a strong sense of responsibility
Enthusiasm and persuasive ability
Friendly and open manner with a high level of service orientation and commitment
Valid driving license (Class B)
Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
