Analyze syndicated (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Circana) and internal sales data to uncover trends, opportunities, and risks within the wine category.
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable business insights.
Develop compelling, fact-based selling stories to support new item launches, assortment recommendations, and promotional programming.
Partner closely with Sales Leads to tailor insights and presentations for key off-premise chain accounts.
Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews to track performance vs. goals and provide strategic recommendations.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to support urgent business needs or retailer-specific initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, and Finance to align on business priorities and category strategies.
Serve as a subject matter expert on category performance and shopper insights for wine.
Monitor industry, competitive, and consumer trends to help guide product development and promotional planning.
Stay informed on pricing, merchandising, and promotional effectiveness across key accounts.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum of 3-5 years professional sales analyst and/or category insights experience in the alcohol beverage experience preferred.
Experience with managing NA Off proprietary reporting systems is strongly desired.
Expert in Excel with regards to Data Management, Reporting, and Data Analysis.
Experience with PowerQuery, Excel VBA and relational databases is a plus.
Experience with Data Visualization PowerBI strongly preferred.
Ability to read, interpret and garner insights using Circana and Nielsen data.
Strong communication, both written and verbal.
Superior organizational skills, detail oriented, must be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
