Role Overview
- Provide support for terminal operations functions in the areas of employee management, safety procedures, and production operations
- Act as a leader and influencer to develop an appropriate culture of safe behavior
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer requirements and food safety standards are met
- Develop operational plans and oversee day-to-day operations for all production processes
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to direct reports
- Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions
Requirements
- Degree/certificate or bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of one year of directly related work experience
- Experience in health and safety management
- Proficiency with software (Microsoft Office)
- Able to work evening shifts, statutory holidays, and weekends as required by operations
- Bilingual in English and French
- Legally authorized to work for Cargill in Canada
