Present and sell eCW products and services to current and potential clients
Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
Pursue new leads from cold call to close
Follow up on new leads and referrals
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned
Prepare pricing proposals and sales contracts
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
Work with cross-functional teams when required
Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate team within eCW
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, tradeshows, and other industry events
Lead generation: establish contact via phone and email to physician practices with the goal to schedule demonstrations of eClinicalWorks
Execute sales campaigns to target audience
Work collaboratively in a team environment
Requirements
Minimum Bachelor’s degree
2 years of successful Healthcare IT sales experience
Proven track record of generating AND closing own leads through cold calls
Ability to travel at least 25% of the time
Professional demeanor
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
Excellent communication skills and customer orientation
Proficiency using Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and the Internet
Strong ability to foster meaningful business relationships
Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to persuade and influence others
Ability to present creative methods in generating and maintaining new business
