Serves as an Unemployment Insurance (UI) Revenue Document Specialist for the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES)
Controls the receipt of unemployment insurance (UI) documents and reports from employers
Initiates corrections for wage data and other employer account information
Assists relevant Revenue staff, other agency staff and/or Department of Innovation & Technology (DoIT) staff in identifying and resolving problems related to Revenue systems
Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above
Requirements
Requires knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to four (4) years of college with major coursework in accounting, business mathematics or related field
Requires an Illinois State Police background check and self-disclosure of any criminal history
Requires ability to successfully complete a fingerprint-based background check
Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties, with overnight stays as appropriate
