This key position at HMA is responsible for all Sales related activities and field sales personnel within the region.
Achieve monthly and yearly retail objectives.
Achieve all other regional sales objectives assigned by the Regional Sales Manager, Regional General Manager or National Sales Management.
Train, supervise, motivate and mentor direct reports to maximize each individual’s contributions to Hyundai and to prepare individuals for professional growth within the organization.
Effectively utilize the Regional support funds (MSP) to achieve regional sales objectives.
Communicate and administer all corporate and regional programs to both the dealer body and regional personnel.
Responsible for the Regional Sales Budget.
Responsible for hiring, performance goals/evaluations, expense reports, and time off requests for all direct reports.
Requirements
Must be a high school graduate.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Master’s Degree a plus
Eight or more years of experience in automotive industry.
Field experience as a District Sales Manager and Staff Manager required.
Three years of supervisory experience required.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong computer and analytical skills required including Microsoft Office Suite, AS400, SAP, SAP Master Query and CAARS (Consolidated, Analytical, Ad Hoc, Reporting System. The ability to run these various systems is the key to this position. Without this ability the candidate cannot generate the required data.
